The Director of Supply Chain Management is responsible for leading the supply chain processes, replenishment, forecast development/analytics, and logistics alignment of the company and its products. The ongoing responsibilities require a fundamental understanding of replenishment methods and key supply chain disciplines including inventory management, project/promotion management, Direct Import, forecast/demand planning and product flow processes.

This person will be responsible for reporting customer supply chain KPIs, inventory trends and POS performance results. This leadership role will determine the impact of inventory policies on shipments and existing inventory goals. The leader's focus activities are designed to reduce the total cost-to-serve through optimizing inventory, freight factor reductions and order profile management. The leader aligns with the sales leaders to provide ongoing input regarding replenishment business opportunities and guidance on where inventory productivity initiatives will impact the incoming flow of new purchase orders.

This person plays a vital role in supporting business development needs and effectively presents to the leadership team all relevant information surrounding inventory policies, in-stock analysis, lead-time components, pack quantities and any other operational component that impacts sales or inventory.

This person builds plans to minimize excess inventory concerns that stem from ineffective product placement activities and balances inventory between high performing and under-performing channels. This position is very hands on however management experience leading and directing a team is a bonus.

Compensation & Commitment

We are currently only interested in candidates willing to receive compensation in the form of company equity. We intend on converting all partners to a Full-Time paid status as the company gains traction and financial maturity. We may also consider paid freelance opportunities in the near future. We understand you have a busy life. We are looking for candidates who can contribute at least 12 hours a week during off business hours and live in the USA.
