The Art Director functions as the visual design lead for the product portfolio. This person should have a strong background in establishing design systems, brand identities and style guides with a solid understanding of Web and Mobile interface design and experience with print, packaging & collateral design.
This person will work directly with the Creative Director and contribute in creating visual design standards and replicate design details of established styles across a variety of mediums and consumer touch points. The right person will strike a balance between creative and analytical thinking and should be well organized and have experience annotating visual design guidelines and specs for both technology development and press ready art. The Art Director will contribute in brainstorming sessions and concept development and in establishing design systems (Digital & Print) that meet the goals set forth by the team and the business.
This person should have experience constructively participating in cross-functional communications, strong presentation skills and have the ability to clearly express rational behind design decisions.
